as busy as a bee

I've been so freaking busy with projects these few weeks... Three reports intotal where by on of them have not even took off. The other two are like partially done, to make me even more busy, a presentation is needed, hence i'll be writing two 20mins speech and still having to prepare a powerpoint presentation.

End of semester exams are in a month and gosh... i'll be keeping this post really short, need my beauty sleep ya. Class 4G@2004 BBq pics will be posted in September or whenever i can squeeze out some time... hahahahahahz...

Today my Travel Geography group went to the Spa Botanica@Sentosa, we were like standing outside the main entrance thinking of questions to ask and when we finally went in and pop the few questions we had, the Senior Spa Manager, Ms Mccann came out of her office and offered us a tour of the spa grounds... gosh... how lucky can we get~

She told us about the Spa business and that all is not what it seems and that there are plenty of "behind the scenes" going on. It was really time well spent listening to her telling us all sorts of interesting information about Spa Botanica. We even get to smell some of the botanical oils that are used for massages, man... the aroma is sooooooo deep that i can actually feel the soothing and relaxing effects immediatly~

After my briefing by personals from Tourism Australia, i realised that i have seen so little of this continent Down Under... There are so many things to do and experience, which i have left out on my journeys there for the past years... My travel purpose have changed, now i wanna put the lives of people, the things going on, the scenes and images that i see when abroad all onto photos... and because of that... i'll be going back to Australia again.. this time... a real long journey... to see and capture all that brings me memories for my many years to come.

As the saying goes, a picture says a thousand words... so true it seems that when we look as a picture... our thoughts awaken... like the many secret rooms we have in our mind.. and those pictures are the keys to them.

Hahahahahz... i went out with the most unexpected of people today, Han Wen, Darius and Andre. After walking around the Edge at Parco Bugis for about three times... i finally settled on a shirt that totally goes with my jeans... hahahaz... and of cuz we did walk to bugis Market just across the street to look at shirts. We even went to Isetan and look around at some shirts around the brand areas and Hanwen even eyed a Playboy shirt... the design was really nice, but they do not come in a bigger size... looks like it wasn't meant.

Met Huilei, Evelyn and Jasmine on the train to Orchard and we started discussing about the BBQ food and the things that we are going to buy... hahahz... Far East was where we headed too and man... Andre and Hanwen decided to get themselves a temporary tattoo... hahahz.. the two "gals" took nearly 15mins to settle on a design and another 10mins to get their tattoo done... hahahz... gosh, i saw some really nice sling bags... and oh i so wanan get this flower printed shirt... but it was like way beyond my budget. Hanwen bought his first T at Freshbox and it was like a big smile on his face... well i got mine too... well the second one for me.

After walking the whole of Far East Plaza and having to fill our grumbling stomach, we went on to DFS to see my Swatch... the one which i chance upon and it was like... i am gonna get it... but the truth is, i didn't. Well after trying on several skin watches... i decided not to buy on impluse and slowly think about it... Lalalalalalalalalz, and *phew* that i didn't buy it at DFS.

Darius was like "i wanna go to get jeans" and i was like.."yes we're going to go to the Giordano at Takashimaya"... actually hanwen was making quite a lot of noise abt his jeans too... upon arriving there... the three guys actually went to look at gals jeans.. goodness... i thought they disappeared when i walked over to the mens section... got my blue socks... heheh and mr kee got his jeans... and Darius... nothing suited him~ I saw this fabulouse shirt at Guess... it's a freaking 199.90SGD but it really is fabulouse... hahahz.. andre was treating me like a manequin, sigh... it's just that i've a matured face~ hehehehehehe

British India is filled with shirts that i am in love with... man all those vietnam style shirts and the pants... the price was very beautiful too... hahahaz. Later on at Heeren, Hanwen got his shirt that's so him.. its a "yellow T with black collar border and sleeve border with a "Lets Merge" print on it with a guy and a women... having "???" hahahahz... well it was love at first sight for me with this yellow checkered shirt... long sleeve of cus... i got it upon the second visit to the shop.

Something is wrong with me... i'm having a craze over brown shirts... brown pants and even brown bags... every shirt that i looked at was brown.. man... goodness... but thanks heaven that i only bought one... that's is brown. hahahahahahz... And i got my Swatch, all thans to this lady who introduced me to the Irony family of watches as it's more suitable for me... instead of the skin watch... hahahahaz...~

my eyes are closing... oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. All due to sleeping at 4am this morning after readina ll the comic strip of naruto... and waking up at 9.44am.

My Passenger Rail project on the Orient Epress is finally coming to an end... all i need to do is to put everything into a presentation and it's done... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee weeks before the due date. Someone didn't turn up today and it didn't pissed me off... well what can we expect??? in Poly... discipline level is super low... and for one who can even forget about meeting up for a project... and to think we're in Hospitality and Tourism Management... sheeze~

Hahahahahaz... after discussing both the passenger rail project and some FFB stuff, we went to Bugis. Man i was surprised that there are so many shops across the streets from Parco, and i saw quite a few nice shirts that can be considered... "Chapter 2" is where i went for my hair cut... hahahz... 26.25SGD after GST... man, what kinda price is tt??? this particular hairdresser got the most particular wash basin i've ever seen... there's like this "pillow" at the sink to rest your head on... instead of the usual neck support... and they wash your hair at the basin.. not at your seat...

In less then 15mins... i'm done and Peilin who was supposed to lend me three bucks to pay for the haircut was no where to be found... thank heavens that i've just enough to pay... hahahahz... the shillings saved me... and after around another 15mins of calling to no avail.... i finally managed to get through to them...

Another simple day at orchard... Caine finally got his new Fossil watch and this bag. Yet again i saw a few shirts and Ts that i wanna get... hahahz... i only spent like eight bucks today... on dinner and taxi home. Quite surprising for myself too... for one that usually spends lots.

Well... i came up with a shopping list after all the window shopping session i had and it's gonna blow you away... there's this Swatch skin watch that's 135SGD, then there's this whole bunch of Ts that i wanna get.. so lets priced them all at a total of 200SGD... then i wanna get a new sling bag... budget of 80SGD and my haircut which is around say... 25SGD... you go do the maths and tell me the amount... hahahahahahahaz

Gotta go all the way to Singpost tomorrow... man its like smack in the middle of nowhere... and where do i go after that??? Sigh... i've been going down to orchard road these few days and coming back empty handed... well... except for that frying pan... and like caine was saying... "how's your pan... Pan?"

I had my first taste of Minute Maid Lemonade today... it was not bad.. not too sour till ur face implodes and not too sweet like you're drinking some imitation lemon flavoured stuff... Topped with ice and it's really delicious... hahahahz... man i am running out of things to write for today...

alright!!! i just thought of something... man i wanan blast those charity people... how many a time do you walk along a street and someone approaches you and say that it will take a few minutes and then say that they aren't gonna sell you anything... then after all the talking.. man just cut it short and say that you are asking for a donation... and the problem is... all these donations to the unfortunate... truth is... you won't know where your money is going... and how can it be that these so called donation go on for months and it's always there... please do not use the excuse of donations to the needy and unfortunate... It's really sick and irritating.

Maybe the government should set up a department to record all the companies or firms or what have you who are doing these donations things, so as to keep track of how many sickening "donation" askers along the streets and maybe even limit the number... man, this is spoiling the image of the country...

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... finally made my tiramisu... it was really scary cuz i dun wanna the cream and cheese to start melting... but *phew* everything turn out well. I shall post the picture of my tiramisu tomorrow if it's possible that nothing goes horribly wrong with the Italian dessert~

Window shopping is really kinda fun to do... hahahaz... went looking for my Tefal frying pan today... The range of kitchenware, cookware at Robinsons@Raffles City Shopping Center was really coolz but expensive... man i will own a fully equiped and grand kitchen one day... with a hand whisk costing 20 dollars and all those coolz and unique kitchenware and blah blah blah... hahahz the pan is saw was 55 SGD, didn't bring out that much money... but it wasn't an unproductive day... i saw a few things that can be added to my room.. this metal wall clock and this clock that's framed up...

Rennie was like a little mad today... he bought this short pair of shorts and it's got a bright lime green band at the side, and he wanted a running sleeveless T to go along... hahahz... unbelievable for him to wanna spend so much...

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... took a cab down to Temasek... hahahz... just to have a cuppa honey dew smoothie with Rennie[My Sunday] and within a short period of 30mins... i'm off to school. The Travel Geo test really got us anxious as who knows what kindda questions will they ask, but hey... it's 1 jour and their testing on like the whole book... so it's really impossible to memorise all the places of interest names.. so chill~ Well... i scored a whopping 48/50... enough to make my day!!!

On the side note... Peilin WANTED to throw this ball of paper at me.. she was like what??? six to eight steps from behind of me and i didn't even know she was there.. and the ball MISSED.. it missed... i was like a target waiting to be hit and it missed... hahahhahahahaz...

Went to Sunday's house with Sheryl and my my.. what a lot of doughnut balls we bought.. well ok... its only 20 of them... While i was there... i finally used up my last three remaining shots of film... weeeeeeeeeeeeee... i can get the roll of film washed tomorrow... hahahahaz.. what a lot of nice pictures that awaits the eye!

Watched Fantastic Four today... it's really worth... you people should go catch it. Its the 11.30pm show that we caught.. we as in Sheryl Rennie Jun Xiang and me... and the best thing is... JX fell asleep halfway and i didn't even know... he was in this sleeping position that made him looked as if he was watching the movie... hahahz.. he even snored at one point of time...

Just can;t wait to see the new Harry Potter movie... hope it's as exciting as the book... but in the mean time... the sixth book is also coming out... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... Currently now i'm waiting to bath and sleep.. sigh... Zzzzzz... man.. i'm sleepy~

Morning was a bad time of the day... Sheryl saied she didn't wanna go Orchard for shopping and lisa just woke up... and me... bathed and all prepared to leave the hse. I was super irritated and furious and lost all the modd for doing things... sigh... Ahhhhhh, but all things take a surprising turn.

Uopn arriving at Sheryls house... to my horror that sittign in her room.. looking at some notes was Rennie!!! Gosh... and the truth came to light~ after saying hey to me last night on MSN.. he disappeared to Sheryl House to study... well, we had breadfast together on that small table... "You Cha Kueh" fried carrot cake and roti prata.. hahahz...

Went to but the stuff for dinner after walking him to the bus interchange... here's what we cooked... Devils Curry, Hungarian Mushroom Soup, Pigs in Blankets, Pineapple Rice, and sheryl's dad cooked his delicious "Ma La tofu"... And of cuz the host dessert of mixed jellies and "Ching Chao"... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

sher had all the honor of slicing the chillies and chilli padi(s) in half while i remove the seeds... hahahz.. fun man... then came the shallots and the garlic and oh nooooooooooooo, we forgot the dried chilli and coconut juice!!! had to blend the things in this small blender.. the chilli paste was giving out heat man after the blending process...

Went out again to meet lisa and get the remaining items for the dinner.. hahahahaz.... it was really tiring.. didn't even have any time to study or was i even in that study mood... upon reaching back to the dinner place.. i fried the chilli paste.... really good man.. the smell was chocking and noses were sneezing away.. hahahz... oh ya... Lisa had the job of adding coconut milk to the paste while i was frying it.. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee but the smell was really awesome... hahahz... *noses sneezing again*

After the chicken was done.. it was time for the sausages... and there the two gals were complaining the sausages smelled spoilt... well we'll know when we sink our teeth into it... Mushrooms were sliced and onions were chopped for the soup... Then all of a sudden... we can hear this high pitch piccolo shouting "open the door"... my my.. Charity is here.. hahahz.. i had all the fun in making her wait while i slowly find the keys... goodness... her voice is ever so piccoloish... the moment she started talking in the kitchen with lisa... god save the queen!!!

hahahz.. and there she is helping me stir fry the carrots which lisa chopped into cibes and then it was sth like "why are the carrots so big??? i've never eaten carrots so big before" and we're like "where got big..." while they were on the way out to get some drinks for tonight... Geraldine arrived.. hahahz... and she's like.. anything i can do now??? well.. wash the used bowls and forks and spoons... hahahz so kind of her to wash them up.. . Thank You gerry... hahahahz... * nobody likes to do the washing... same goes to me*

It's been so long since we actually had this kind of gathering... sure is nice to see everyone again.. in Sheryl House... hahahz...

Well the pineapple rice is done.. so's the soup... with an overload of mushrooms and stuffs... and after the tofu is done.. feast.... Goodness the curry is really hot as in Spicy man... and well Sheryl was channel surfing we came across this indian channel where this women slapped the guy saying or rather screaming "Shutti".. . hahahahz we were all liek laughin away.. and then came another channel with this new singer called Jesse McCartney... and Charity's going omg.. he's so cute right.. looks alot like Aaron Carter...

Yeah we were full and satisfied... with lips red from the curry and of cuz dessert... Sheryl's ice which were supposed to be in big blocks in the shape of the mug came out very special.. in stead of solid ice.. only the water which is in contact with the cup turned to ice... which made sth like a ice block with a hollow inside.. style man...

Dessert was turned into a time for vampires... with the gals stuffing longans and "ching chao" into their mouth.. making them into fangs and so on... with that.. and all the washing up done.. we proceeded into the room and hahahz... gosh.. so many phot takings and laughter... Charity tired her vocals to the Phantom of the Opera which she claimed that the last note of the song was super scary as it was really high.. sheeze...

Went home at around 11pm ++ and here am i after bathing...
