One year gone... One year older

Happy Lunar New Year 2006!!! time really flies when you're having so much fun... today was an exceptionally normal day except that i baked my kueh lapis, it was softer then usual as i added more egg whites to the batter and its as delicious as ever... i only regret not bombarding the batter with more five spice powder... sigh~

Chinatown this year was really sucky... nothing much to see and buy... but nevertheless, it's a tradition for me to go down to Chinatown every year to see the Lunar New Year market which is always pack full of people... and people trying... seeing... and even flipping through those many items on sale.. and the term sale here doesn't mean having discounts... hahahahaz... Mr. Jun Xiang was fasinated by those old fashion soft drink bottles... you know... those made of glass... well he bought two of it and finished the liquid inside~

Oh ya... i finally got a new camera and its a Olympus digital 800... bloody eight mega pixels and its so much fun... plenty of functions and stuffs.. and what better time to test the shot then during our P.O.M presentation... hahahahahaz... there was so many pieces of paper after our presentation... we got crazy and started taking pics with words like "marvelouse", "I'm Hottest", "Lobster" and many more...

On my recent shopping spree... i got myself a new jeans... Levis, and i also got meself a "twang" T-Shirt... hahahaha... brown and yellow strips... and its like so... i dunno what's the word... but ya... hahahahahhaz... and whooooooooooooooo a khaki three quart pants... but too bad i didn't see and shoe or sling bag that is of my cuppa tea... my converse sneakers are going to fall apart soon and well well... converse hasn't got any decent sneakers... or should i say the design of them wasn't what they used to be a year ago.... tsk tsk tsk~

On thursday when i was at the airport, terminal two obviously... these three SQ gals was like... how about we go outside to take a puff before we go downstairs to check out... *the cabin and flight crew's of SIA have to check out at the flight control office in B1" and i was like... what in the world are they thinking... smoking at the pick up point of the arrival hall... that's like soOoOoOoO freaking umglam and spoiling SIA's image... these gals must have lost their brains after collecting their baggage or they're new~

i really don't know what eles to type... so that's it i guess... see you next time.

Peilin's new camera phone and boredom

Of tea and chilly nights...

Lately... i have been such an english grandmother, enjoying a cuppa hot tea with some biscuits while typing away with my homework... with the chilly wind weaving into the room... Its been a week ever since school open its doors again for the second acadamic term... and life is as usual... if not then filled with lesser excitment and joy~

The airport as i have noticed... is getting very much quieter these few weeks, maybe due to the fact that well... people are already at the place that they wanna be since Christmas and the New Year are as such close distance... oh ya... Happy New Year 2006!!! i seriously hope that i won't have to be thinking whether the airport will be closing in like 10mins when the clock strikes 8pm~

The Lunar New Year is approaching fast... and i have lotsa things on the shopping list... i want a new camera... some pants... and i need a new shoe... my current favourite converse sneakers dubbed the "banana" is spoiling... *sobs* i saw this Timberland Oxford Nubuck on their website and i am soooo lovin it... however, there's a catch... this particular sexy doesn't go with my beach shorts... it will only match well with jeans and by the way i need another one too... hmm... and oh ya... a sling bag... its been like there on the shopping list for ages. Well i figured out that if i were to go on a shopping spree... five hundred singapore dollars... excluding the camera will be gone in a day... hahahahahahz~

I was just browsing through BOLS webbie and my oh my... look at all those liqueurs just illuminating their charm... i am thinking of getting a Kirschwasser, Bailey's Irish Creme and maybe Amaretto... hahahaz... all in the name of baking. However, the prices of those are steep... although that's their market value... but you know... sixty bucks for a bottle just for baking is somewhat crazy~
