Exams… The Feeling of Joy and Laziness
Exams… The Feeling of Joy and Laziness
Hmm... i wonder how long it was since i last made a productive and meaningful post... hahahahahahaz... all the other times whenever the page loads and i started typing... i get the feeling of laziness and boredom... and the thought of typing puts me off... ;)
Finally all the projects are done and i’m into the study week... three papers... yup that’s all i have. Although i love studying... the feeling of laziness sometimes will be too overwhelming that I have to slack and just listen to the radio or watch some anime... hahahahahahz... yeah... slacking is nice… but studying... it’s got its fun part too ya know, especially when i have to go online and search for more info... like the uses or herbs and more information on them and ... practically more information to increase my knowledge... those in the lecture notes are kinda little... sooooooo i need more information...
Went out with Jun Xiang the other day after the teachers day celebration in Springfield... thanks to him we spent 25mins sitting in the rip curl shop at City Link… waiting for him to decide on which rip curl bag to purchase... the few store keepers were like wondering WTF were we doing sitting down.. corrections... what i was sitting on the bench facing the bag display... and JX was is this nice... there must be nicer ones... sheeze...
The celebration in the hall was kinda boring... a lot of dances and singing... darn those students... they only wanna perform because they wanna show the school that they think they are good at it... not because they are performing to entertain the teachers... so many of the dances were done with raps and those R&B songs which got cut and paste here and there and all the sleezy dance moves with arse shakin and boobs bobbin... for god sake.. u think the teachers wanna see that??? Hello... this is a school... not some pub. However *this sounds so commskills* there are some classes that did a great job highlighting the fact that it was, afterall a teachers day celebration... one of my junior’s class sang Celine Dion with the ending lyrics edited in thanks to the teachers... the last part... the AV boys went to cut the music.. but that gal was superb... her voices was damn good and she really and I meant literally shock the whole school who thought she couldn’t sing at all... and to think it was a celine dion piece... two thumbs up for that gal * I dunno her name.. but well... She’s from GB... Wan Leng’s junior*
Gave almost all of my homemade cookies to the teachers that i wanna give except for mrs cheoh... darn she was sick on such a day... around 40 sprinfielders came back to wish the teachers a happy teachers day... as compared to the previous batch of students.. who do not even bothered to return last yr... those ungrateful brates... that's why i feel that this 1988 batch of babies have this special bond.. even though we have graduated... the whole bunch of us still hang out together at times and even gather for dinner... this particular bonding is not felt in other batch of students and we can feel it... especially when we return for band.. the current sec 4s and 3s do not possessed this special thing... * for those who understand.. ya know what i mean... for those who don't... you'll never undertand* hahahahz... was a copycat from mr poh's saying of "Marching band: for those who understand, No explanation is needed!!! For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible!!"
i find this saying very true... when a marching band member tries to explain what a marching band is about... it will be a case where i vomit blood and the sky will fall before that person will understand...
Finally had my revenge (muahahahahahahahz) on Jennifer... well she got a “D” for Intro to HTM individual coursework grade... that women should be smiling and counting herself lucky that she didn’t fail or she would have failed the whole subject. At times i also think that i am being too harsh and sort of bad on her by hoping she fail… but then… well she deserves that kinds grade.... have to be fair for the rest of the group members… I was expecting the rest of the group to achieve a “B”... but only Tung Ling, Peilin and i got it... the rest got a “C+”...
The two new animes on Arts Central are really nice... namely "Peacemaker Kurogane" and "Scrapped Princess"... although both anime are only a short 24 episodes... it’s definitely worth my time... and i must say that I really love the opening and ending song for peacemaker... "You Gonna Feel" and "Hey Jimmy!"... damn nice... just yesterday... I finally get to watch BLEACH... it’s not bad i must say... kinda exciting and funny...
Sigh... my latest dinner that I spent the whole day preparing was not 100% welcomed by everyone... sighz... Singaporeans are just so darn Chinese and traditional when it comes to food... they cant even accept and appreciate cuisines from other cultures like French and even a mix of Italian and Indian... I really felt that i have cooked for the wrong group of people that night... But i’m glad that my Tiramisu went well... my darn pumpkin soup was considered an 90% hit... but Han Wen’s mum had to complain that it’s too thick and she went to dilute the remaining ¼ pot of it to the consistency of water... darn... the cream soup became blend in taste... pumpkin soup was meant to be drank thick and creamy...
i find that i have not done my best... it will be an uphill climb for me to come out in the top 5% of my course... sigh... how can i achieve that??? but really... sometimes i think that i should just be happy having grades which are in the middle... but it's my nature to fight and compete until i get to the top... if not, among the top...
*rennie... take care ya.. dun push yourself too hard... must enjoy life ;) ... it's been so long since we went out... along with alstone and caine...*
