Feeling so wrong...

I have never like days after a public holiday and the worst of all, a monday... to add on to freaking early morning sleep and waking up twelve hours later will sent your mind through a maze... *ahhh... just made myself a cuppa tea to go with some log cake... the wind is sending chillin waves of air into the room* and while i was standing near the stove waiting for the water to boil... my mum had to come and tell me that i am not very sociable... and that how can it be when i am in the Hospitality course... sheeze... i don't have to be working in that industry when i graduate... my mind is still set on becoming one of the flying crew of SIA... i love travelling~

Watched Narnia yesterday... bloody half past midnight show... with Jun Xiang... well, that little kid had to pester me to watch a movie so what the hell... Narnia was nice and i really love it alot... but i find that its not as magical as the story book... i think that C.S Lewis and Tolkien have really got that magical touch in writing books... However... the movie's magic was not deep enough and i still perfer reading as its where my imagination takes flight into a world where its truely beautiful... someone quoted before that when both c.s Lewis and Tolkien wrote their renowned books, it was that children books were not written the way they should be during that time... and i couldn't agree more... the world of Narnia and Middle Earth are all what i should say worlds that i will wanna live in forever... where talking creatures... elves, hobbits... witches... dwarfs... orcs... and other frightful creatures dwell in the dark and evil places... the lady, Tilda Swinton who acted as the White Witch really deserves some praise as she has portrayed the role as evil well... like in Constantine where she was Gabriel... The other books of Narnia although not as exciting as The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe deserves to be read~

After reading Benedict's blog today... i must say that its really funny... and i must say i quite agree that it seems this semester is not in my favor... i find that my performace is not up to standard and as it were before... the way i think and even carry out tasks are somewhat hindered... work load from school is not as heavy as before and that it feels weird to have so much free time especially when i am no longer the group leader for projects... well i have to give others a chance to take the lead... although i must say that i am not all very willing on this issue... if the flow of life currently is like musical notes on a score... then there's many rests here and there~

Conflicts in band... something that i believe no one likes... to tell the truth... i will tread where conflicts are null and peace is forever... fighting is too scary and fightening... i wont mind embarking on a journey such as those in Middle Earth and Narnia where danger rings and goodness lingers for hope and a chance to shine upon all...

Nights...

Christmas... and a year is about to be over...

Orchard road was packed like sardines in a can today... sheeze... and people was spraying this foam thing like it's raining, well foam... it comes in a can... has this nice fragrance that makes me sneeze... and feels kinda sticky when i sweep it off my shirt... some guys were like bombarding their friends with it and the poor feller got all covered in "snow"... how sweet right~

alrighty... this paragraph is dedicated to my dearest son Jun Xiang *hugz and kisses*... who was the only one out of my three sons that spent Christmas with me shopping... and who wanted me to write this post for god knows what reason... hahahahahaz... Joseph went to penang... and Eugene was missing in action... shopping was like fun and u know that oh my goodness and arrrrrrrg feeling... when u wanna shop and shop and buy like countless shirts and pants... finally bought two shirts and i saw a shorts that i am totally in love with... but because it costs forty nine dollars and ninety cents... i was caught in miss dilemma... sigh.. but now i decided that i am going to get it... JX got himself a shirt... which is super nice and the colour is well... very sassy... and in the end.. i had to act like the older one and get myself the not so nice colour piece... hahahahaz~

I wanna thank father christmas that JX did not make me stand in the newbie shop for half an hour for him to decide which piece of shirt he should buy... hahahahahahz... on man... 37 degrees's beach shorts are getting increasingly unpleasent to the eye... i hope that by new year, some new design will appear on the racks... but still... i am gonna get tt near fifty bucks shorts... :P

Lalalalalalalalalz... i had a white chocolate dream today at the airport... and it's like super crowded at coffee bean in terminal two... sheeze... the people didn't even come out often to clear the used cups...

*good night people... and Merry Christmas*

My life... Memories forever

Its been over a month since i last blog and during this period of time, time really flies and it seems only yesterday that my "O" levels ended. I miss the times during the 2004 outdoor period where even though band was tough and goodnessly tiring... we had fun as the band was really united and everyone of us, especially the dragon babies were all crazy and fun. Now its a totally different case where band members don't really look forward to practises and are giving the there's still plenty of time to the competition kinda attitude... for us... if there's no band.. we'll be moaning and groaning that there's nothing to do as we soooooo look forward to practises... where even standing under the hot sun is fun.

The band has like no life now... when the alumni goes back to help... the feeling is soooo different... they are like... on the line sperating the livin and the dead... well ok not that bad but the enthusiasm and joy are not there... instead the alumni is bring joy for the members... They have to learnt o have fun and gossip during sectional but still produce quality sound and technics... hahahz... i thought of the times when the saxophone section gossip for an hour or so before we really start our sectionals.. and in between there were laughters and jokes and people being teased... hahahahahahahz... so fun... then even though we didn't practise much... the spirit and unity of the section brought us to greater heights~

Hearing the sound of charity shrieking away and sheryl talking so loudly... and the rupture of people laughing away... so great a feeling it was...

School started and i have a psycho macroeconomics tutor... hahahaz... he is freaking creapy in a way that the whole class fears he will suddenly draw out a knife during tutorials and point it at us. "Airplane don't wait for people"... yeah~ my Travel and Tour Operations lecturer and tutor is from China, but i seriously think that many epople do not respect her because for her English. She's really a good tutor and lecturer, it's just that you have to understand her english which sometimes can be a little confusing~

I have decided that i am gonna aim for a 3.6 for my GPA this semester... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... it ain't gonna be easy, but then i will make it come true for me as it's no dream. The Changi Youth Ambassador thingy gives me moments of anger and happiness, a new feeling every week due to those passengers who despite being in one of the world's most friendly airport with directional signs here and there. I really like passengers, especially those backpackers and caucasian couples in their golden ages travelling together, these people are the nicest and warmest passengers around~

My CDS although being the easiest CDS in the interdisciplinary and general studies school, has got the suckiest lectures... its so unproductive... the lecturers are just readin and telling us the answers for the blanks in the lecture notes... and because world issues such as global warming, poverty, human, drugs, weapons trafficking and other issues are so in-depth, its impossible to cover them during one hour of lecture. The one hour wasted skimming the surface of these issues can be better spent on tutorial time where we can discuss these issues further~

On the lovely and melodious note of life... i got into the Global Citizenship term vacation CDS, the best thing is that the school is subsidising a third of the total cost and we're going to Shanghai. Although there are 160 people in this CDS, only three places are offered for the 1st years of my course... so am i lucky or what??? Well if you are asking what this CDS is about... then let me explain... during the second week of my two months long vacation, there will be five lectures and tutorials... and a group report on a chosen topic... in this case "Environment" for my group... Then during the third week... we're going to Shanghai for a week and after that a final presentation is done to end the subject. Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalazzz....

The band camp has just ended today with the Passing out Parade... each section put up a skit and it was really entertaining... to see them performing on stage and all those "hey... quick sing with me" or "omg... i am nervouse" actions... hahahz... but i think the percussion one was really nice... for my dearest section which was combined with the french horns... they chose to sing a song titled "graduation"... which i have no idea what they were singing about... and the best part of all is that we the saxophone alumni members got pulled on stage and there i was swaying to the flow of the song... hahahahz~

The band camp was unexpectedly not as tough and demanding as compared to the 2004 band camps... which were really gruelling... the members got it easy this time with cloudy days and rain which practically falls on every day of the camp at around 1pm or so... hahahahz... oh oh oh... we had our third alumni practise and my goodness... my first attempt at the 1st alto sax. score for instand concert was like... running against the wind... hahahaz... my side readin sux man... and this made playing fate of the gods for the first time running against the wind and uphill at the same time... hahahahz... need more practise... really.. if not i will die...~
