Of dusty blogs
Gosh, thanks to joseph for reminding me that my last post was dated back to 27th of April 2006. Hahahahaha... its been really long but it felt like it was only a week ago that school began. I totally blamed it on the busy schedule thatwe have now and on top of that i have french lessons and archery.
Life at TAS is really interesting as on one hand it feels like school but on the other hand, the atmosphere there is really different. Hard to explain but its a feeling u have to be there and experience it to know it. The food there sucks, it's either too salty or blend or just plainly... ok sometimes the rice si the best dish if its a dish at all... and subway is the place where we go like once a week and oh oh oh the fried oysters, wanton noodles, chicken rice at seah im hawker centre rawks.
Projects are like what's revolving around me now... and i love Club, Resort and Spa Business... it's darn interesting especially if you go do all the readings from books even if you do not have to as they are outside of the so called ok how abt the zone of knowledge that you have to read up on... but i find it really good and fun to know all those extra stuff.. that's what i call whole(listic) learning... just a week go a friend asked me how i actually go to school and here's my reply "take a bus to pasir ris mrt station, take a traind own to outram park and change to the NEL, from there take another train to harbourfront and commute on the Sentosa bus into the island and lastly, take the blue line to get to the academy" gosh.. this is one long and tedious jounrey that in life isn't tt tedious and troublesome at all...
i was reading this book on Hospitality and Travel Marketing and i am really interested in how all those major airlines, hotels and resorts come up with creative adverts that has meaning beneath the surface too. i've got a new phrase and its "books are ian's best friend"... sigh... i miss TP... the food... the library... the building...
peacocks and me really have got no fate, i saw them twice and they never seem to come to TAS anymore... i am always trying to find a chance to photograph them... but they never came...
i invited some friends oer for dinner yesterday... they're the ones who were from my shanghai trip class and yep.. we hadn't lost contact and be like to instances where u join an outside activity and when it ends, you just never seem to talk to them anymore... but for us, we always find a chance to meet up and have a good laugh and go crazy... gosh i really never regretted joining that CDS...
