How time flies... two weeks have gone and so have the SYF Central Judging of Concert Bands... Springfield got a Silver... was expecting a GOLD... but... looking on the bright side, the judges comments was definitely very good.. i think we just missed a few points and it will be a GOLD. Yayun's solo was fabulouse and the sound and the feeling and the intensity was all so great.. man... I couldn't stay for long at the Singapore Conference Hall as i have a flight to catch... Well, got the message through a call from Sheryl on the way to the airport... it was really sad... thinking of all the hopes we had on getting a GOLD... i think the most affected people will be those participating.
Andre, Alstone, Caine, Nigel & his gal and Rennie came to see me off.. how nice of them... and that idiot rennie... bought two packs of Famous Amos cookies.. had to ask him to take back a pack and i had to finished the other on board... The flight to Melbourne was somewhat easy going.. have three seats all to myself... Muahahahaz...
My cousin mixed up the dates that i'll be arriving.. ended up taking a taxi to the inn... man it was like 30 AUD for the ride... the meter really jumped fast man! Got to sleep in one of the rooms near the corner of the building.. kina creepy ... but the bed was warm and nice... Zzz
