Merry Christmas From Shanghai

Oh… it’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is here and what a different feeling it was spending my first Christmas overseas away from my family and friends back home. What I felt was a tingle of joy and warmth in my heart as the world celebrates Christmas while here I am on my bed typing away, listening to Christmas carols. It was really nice of Sheryl as she bought me a card and met me after work at the hotel as we welcomed a quiet Christmas at the hotel lobby taking pictures with the tree. Although Christmas is not celebrated widely in Shanghai as compared to Singapore, it’s that time of the year when you start thinking of presents to buy and nevertheless I had to share the joys of giving presents to my colleagues, family and friends.
