watch and observe
Mornings and me are never meant for but yesterday morning was something that made me realised another wonderous simplicity of life. at a kopitiam i had those bee hoon/mee with chicken wing, cabbage, otah and fish cake etc with my usual cuppa teh. somehow i love mornings, watching the city come alive as students make their way to school, the morning rush to work and the older generation having their breakfast before going marketing.
There was a gentle breeze, the sun was shining warmly with the sounds of aunties taking drink orders and the tinks and clangs of the uncle making kopi/teh. when i was a student mornings meant getting out of home and hoping onto the bus or train to school, caught in the vicious cycle a break from the daily norm seems refreshing and sets you thinking as we achieve greater things in life what about the finer things and simple ordinary activities of the commoner.
i feel damn fcking fortunate that i'm living here and now
