laugh, till the sun sets

Exams ended nine days ago and i have been slacking ever since. hop down to the hong kong cafe at marina square after the paper for some food since we're all hungry, took about 45 minutes to decide where we should go cause everybody wanna go to different places, in the end the four of us, peilin wasn't in the photo stick to our first decision. We had such a good time laughing to all sorts of stories originating from the good old days and gosh, i almost had the first jaw cramp in my life.

Everyone seems to wish that the holidays approach faster but when its the holidays i usually grow mushrooms at home. the dreadful feeling of having nothing interesting to do, idling away at home but gosh, i'm going to japan for two weeks ;) leaving on the 16th of march and i have both fear and excitement in my heart. firstly the language barrier will surely be some sort of a problem but that is not the main issue, getting from one place to another is the main thing . have you seen the tokyo subway map, oh yeah its like fck confusing.

Cherry blossoms, oh my. i wonder how beautiful they are in real life.

And oh, the following day after the exams ended i brought five slices of cake from bakerzine and savor them at the airport while gazing at those planes. Well i didn't really had all to myself, another of my friend was there to help. But i just love sitting at the viewing gallery in terminal one looking at the planes while letting your mind wonder or simply day dream. with the occasional sounds of children running and shouting, the atmosphere there is so cozy and relaxing.

When you're at bakerzine the black forest is a oh my gosh must try. The feel of the cake is so different from other black forest, its light yet simple enough to make me deliriously happy. well you can say i am easily contented sometimes, give me that black forest cake for dessert anyday i say. oh oh oh we tried this chocolat coeur with nice roses made of curled white chocolate on the top as decor, the chocolate was rich and it just makes your eyes sparkle the moment you take the first bite.

Went to kinokuniya on tuesday to get the lonely planet japan guide book and then there was a moment of impulsive buying. saw this cute bookmark at the counter and it was mine in a minute. the bookmark came in a pair so i took the guy, cute ain't it. got christie agatha's murder on the orient express and perfect strangers by robyn sisman, one mystery one love, how bizarre indeed.
