i miss those days of shanghai

one night as i was chillin in my room browsing photos of my friends and i chance upon an album labeled shanghai internship by sheryl. some photos really brought back memories and oh my i miss those days very much. the living together and bickering we had, the days we slack at home doing nothing, the fcking cold weather of shanghai, the doing of laundry and how can i forget the footsteps among numerous other happenings. but most importantly i feel blessed in some way that sheryl was there.

a friend whom i knew for nearly seven years since my secondary school days, from student council to outrages band days and poly life and even a five months stint in shanghai. life is really full of surprises and i am gonna agree on this point with my heart and soul. its really amazing how the both of us got into the same course of study and when it was time to apply for our internship placements, i asked her to just give it a shot and gosh both of us got the places at four seasons shanghai.

truth be told, if it wasn't for ns i will definitely go study at the university of queensland with my dear friend, then we can share the same apartment again and life overseas will be made much more fun and enjoyable. i believe she agrees on this one too. sigh i will miss you my friend when you are away and i thank you from the depths of my heart for being a dear friend and somehow always being there for whatever reasons.

*if you're wondering what is the footsteps i mentioned earlier, while sheryl decided to inform us that she heard footsteps one afternoon when she was at home while the three of us were at work. a few weeks later i fell ill with a fever and poor me was resting in bed when i heard footsteps running around the house. i was like what the fck man, but was too tired to get out of my comfy bed, it was only around 9am then. when i told sheryl about my hearing of footsteps, i found out that the culprit was her as she didn't felt well that morning too and hence went to work late but unfortunately was in a rush. scare the daylight out of me please.
